Printer (Default) Registry entry

Specifies the default printer for a user.

Every time a user prints something it will be sent to the nominated default printer when this entry is specified.

This Registry entry can be assigned to users and groups:

This entry is created by the system. If a default entry is not found, the user is shown a list from the Available Printers Registry entry so they can select a default printer. If this entry is set manually, type must be a valid type set using the Printer Types Registry entry.

If a user needs to change the default printer, they can do so by selecting the Print>Select Printer from the Menu bar.

This entry specifies that user vw has a default printer of lp31:
